Ubuntu / Debian: Where stores mumble the certificates?

Postby JanDavid » Fri May 27, 2016 5:17 am

I have lost the USB stick with the certificate.

However, I found an old Debian harddisk, mumble installed, that does no longer boot but is completely readable when mounted as second disk.

How to restore the certificate from there?

If you just pointed Murmur at a file, the certificate and key will be in the files pointed at by /etc/murmur.ini (or is it /etc/mumble-server.ini on Debian? I forget).

If you installed them via Ice, they'll be in the sqlite database, wherever that lives on Debian.
Full disclosure: I run a semi-commercial Mumble host, and my opinions do not reflect the opinions of the Mumble project.
