Re: Developing An Incredibly User-Friendly Skin

If you haven't already you might want to take a look at the 1.3 snapshots (for ubuntu we provide a PPA you can install them from if you want). They ship with a new light and dark theme. Maybe one of those is to your liking. They are derived from https://github.com/xPoke/MetroMumble/releases which be...

Re: How to set mumble to use your default sound device

As mumble is a communication application it uses the default communication device by default. You can however configure mumble to use a fixed audio device of your choice instead. This can be done from the Configuration when the "Advanced" checkbox is checked.

Re: Log Entry for Attempted Connection to Sever NOT on my li

That's none of ours. I am not quite sure I understand under what conditions this was seen but the public server list or a custom favourite would seem like obvious culprits that could trigger such an alert. The name lookup could be a favourite or public server. Though for the public servers you shoul...

Re: Windows Update Breaking Push to Tallk

Sorry about that. A recent Windows 10 update broke Mumble shortcuts when a XInput device like an XBox controller was attached. I assume this is what you are seeing. This should be resolved with 1.2.15 (see http://blog.mumble.info/mumble-1-2-15/ ). Sorry for the inconvinience.

Re: Battlefield 1942 - Plugin help!

As mentioned in my mail reply to you: We would be happy to accept patches to make it work better. Have you already taken a look at https://wiki.mumble.info/wiki/Pluginguide ? It contains a fairly decent description of the process to figure out the memory location for the information you want to retr...

Re: Querying Asio In/Out

Unfortunately the ASIO implementation in Mumble is rather underwhelming and we have no developer interested in actually maintaining or improving it. Our current plan is to drop it after the 1.3 release unless someone steps up to do so. Would be interested to know your use-case for using asio vs say ...

Re: Mumble Snapshot make crash Open Broadcaster Software

Disabling the mumble overlay should work around the issue. I'm not aware of any overlay changes we did recently that might trigger this. We had problems with OBS and the mumble overlay in the past though. If you have a github account (or don't mind opening one) it would be great if you could report ...
