Re: Key Bind to swap Transmit (Voice Activity / PtT)

If you download the latest snapshot, it has that capability.

In the shortcuts you can select "Cycle Transmit Mode"

Re: Mumble stops transmitting in FFX|V, Win10

First of all, please don't run Mumble as the Adminstrator user. It breaks things. If you *need* to run Mumble as Administrator for some applications to receive Push-to-Talk key presses, it might be because you've installed Mumble to a custom location (not C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)....

[Solved]Can't get overlay to show

I recently installed a fresh version of Windows 10 on my computer. After getting all my games and stuff loaded and mumble setup I find I have no Overlay. All the games I used to have it show on no longer display. I am running as Admin Mode, I Whitelisted the things, and have the EXACT same settings...

Re: Robotic sounding audio

It sounds like a UDP or QoS issue.

Try going into mumble > settings, make sure the advanced box is checked off in the lower left, go to the network tab and check "Force TCP Mode" and uncheck "Use Quality of Service"

The best would be if it polled every time the mic actives but that would create latency too as the server would have to turn around and...

Re: Force push-to-talk on server

As soon as you start transfering more information then Mumble is no longer Low-Latency and becomes as high latency as all the others.

Re: Force push-to-talk on server

Except, all the server knows is that there is audio being transmitted. It has no way of knowing what method the audio is being inputting in to mumble. As far as the server is concerned there is no difference between continuous, PTT, and voice activated. That said, if properly setup, listeners should...
