Re: Failed to set TOS for UDP Socket

Failing to set the TOS bit is not a fatal error. There's an issue that I identified late in the 1.2.3 cycle (and decided to wait to fix until 1.2.4 because it seemingly has been present since 1.2.0, without anyone complaining :-)). I didn't want to jump to conclusions before I had more time to play ...

Re: Mac/Overlay/Warcraft

The overlay works fine for me in WoW on 1.2.3-rc2. MacBook Pro with GeForce 320M.

Have you tested with 1.2.3 or are you still using 1.2.2?

Re: Import Certificate Problem (OSX 1.2.3-rc3 Dev Snapshot)

The rc3 snapshot on OSX went out linked against two different versions of OpenSSL, and I believe that's what you're seeing there.

The latest snapshot (http://mumble.hive.no/snapshot/) should have a fix, but I haven't yet had time to repro it.

Re: Mac USB Robotic Voice

Has the fix made it better, or worse, or no change?

It's possible that the robotic sound will occur, since we perform a restart of the AudioInput/AudioOutput engine when we are notified of a rate change.

Re: Mac USB Robotic Voice

FYI,

I uploaded a new snapshot uses a simpler method of getting the sample rate change events. (Thanks to pcgod!)

Please test this snapshot instead:

Re: Mac USB Robotic Voice

Could you please try to see if it works correctly in this snapshot: http://mumble.hive.no/snapshot/Mumble-Snapshot-1.2.2-674-gc85be07.dmg? Please also take a look at the log (or perhaps upload the latest part of the log somewhere), if it doesn't seem to work correctly (logs are put in ~/Library/Logs...

Re: How to use overlay on Mac OSX with TF2?

Hi, The easiest way to get a working overlay on OSX is to grab the latest snapshot from http://mumble.hive.no. To set up the overlay, go into Preferences -> Overlay and install it. From then on, all games will automatically have the overlay (as long as they're launched after Mumble itself). If you r...

Re: How do certificates work?

A self-signed client certificate can be generated by yourself through the certificate wizard (Configure -> Certificate Wizard), or Mumble can automatically generate a generic one for you (name: 'Mumble User')... There is also the possibility to use an email certificate (or other personal certificate...

Re: So Frusterating... Mumble Won't work past 1.1.7

Please try the snapshots from this page:

www.scorpius-project.org/mumble-osx-10.4/

They're a little old now, but that doesn't matter for the test. :)

Hope it helps,
