Re: Mumble only works in Exclusive mode?

Probably a compatibility issue with VoiceMeeter Banana.
Does it work without exclusive mode if you don't go through VoiceMeeter Banana?

Also, why are you running Mumble in admin mode? That's strongly discouraged.

And no, it has never been the case that you need to run Mumble as Administrator for the overlay to work.

Re: Mumble stops transmitting in FFX|V, Win10

In general, running in admin mode will make the overlay *not* appear. Because then Mumble itself is running as another user than the game, and thus can't communicate with it.

Re: Issue with PTT Hotkey

This sounds like the bug that Mumble 1.2.15 fixed.

Can you confirm that this works in 1.2.15? Thanks.

Re: Mumble stops transmitting in FFX|V, Win10

One thing to try is to determine what's going wrong: Is Mumble no longer recording your voice? Once you cannot use your Push-to-Talk key, try going to Self -> Audio Statistics. Re: Mumble stops transmitting in FFX|V, Win10

First of all, please don't run Mumble as the Adminstrator user. It breaks things. If you *need* to run Mumble as Administrator for some applications to receive Push-to-Talk key presses, it might be because you've installed Mumble to a custom location (not C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86). ...

Re: Linux No option to suppress push to talk key

This feature required use of the XEvie extension to Xorg, which has been deprecated.

As far as we know, we cannot suppress keys on Linux currently.

Re: Unknown Speex_Preprocessor_ctl error

I believe SpeexDSP in Raspbian is built in fixed point mode, so it lacks some features we're using (we use float mode).

Re: Mumble crashing on launch of application

You can also try to wipe your settings clean: Open the registry editor (regedit). Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mumble\Mumble Right click the Mumble key, and export it (so you have a backup). Then delete it from the registry. Other than that, have you been able to submit any crashes? Or doe...

Re: Failed to create communication with overlay at mumble

And -- just to make sure -- you have also tried to run both without admin privileges, correct?

Does the error present itself in all cases? Both admin and non-admin?
