bizsar
Hello,I am running a private Mumble server.Users can connect and register using a self-signed certificate, but when a user (new or otherwise) with a trusted certificate attempts to connect, the connection is failed and the server log shows:New connection: SSL Error: The root CA certificate is not trusted for this purposeSSL Error: No certificates could be verifiedConnection closed: [-1]Does a server have to be registered public to accept trusted certificate connections? bizsar
Hmmm...the server log seems to indicate that it is unable to verify the trusted certificates because "The root CA certificate is not trusted"...how do I go about insuring it is trusted on the server? Administrators kissaki Posted March 22, 2013 Administrators Share Posted March 22, 2013 That depends on your OS I guess. Is this an issue for one user?Everyone with certs signed by a specific CA?Or everyone with signed certs?
