morfedel
So, in trying to install Mumble for the first time, got this message:"The Program or Feature "\??\c:" followed by the path, followed by "7zip_bimo.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatability with 64-bit version of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."I checked the faq, bugs, platform areas, and none seem to indicate an incompatability problem. So.... what's going on here?

Administrators kissaki Posted April 9, 2013 Administrators Share Posted April 9, 2013 The official windows installer *can* install on Win x64 systems. No idea what is broken on your system though. "\??\c:" followed by the path, followed by "7zip_bimo.exe"Is that the target or source path? Can you provide the full path?Mumble does not place a file named 7zip_bimo.exe in its program folder. morfedel
Well, I can't explain it; i redownloaded the same package and tried again, and it worked just fine. Scratching my head over it, but at least it worked.
