Installation Fails on Windows 7

So, in trying to install Mumble for the first time, got this message:

"The Program or Feature "\??\c:" followed by the path, followed by "7zip_bimo.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatability with 64-bit version of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."

I checked the faq, bugs, platform areas, and none seem to indicate an incompatability problem. So.... what's going on here?

The official windows installer *can* install on Win x64 systems.

No idea what is broken on your system though.

"\??\c:" followed by the path, followed by "7zip_bimo.exe"

Is that the target or source path?

Can you provide the full path?

Mumble does not place a file named 7zip_bimo.exe in its program folder.
