paranoiid Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 I started a thread a while ago but now I can't find it. It's just vanished. Anyway, I'm hosting a Mumble 1.2.4 on an Ubuntu Server (without a desktop environment). The problem is that sometimes clients, all of them, at the same time (except for me who's logged in through the internal network) just gets timeouted. <W>2013-09-14 22:46:46.913 1 => <8:deathworg(-1)> Authenticated <W>2013-09-14 23:46:26.789 1 => <68:Arckhead(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:26.945 1 => <2:cliracy(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:27.102 1 => <3:Toboe(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:27.259 1 => <4:Begil(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:27.427 1 => <74:Ziv(Ebi)(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:27.583 1 => <75:Ari(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:27.740 1 => <8:deathworg(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:27.909 1 => <77:Kieu(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:28.077 1 => <79:Hinze(-1)> Timeout <W>2013-09-14 23:46:28.245 1 => <68:Arckhead(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:28.413 1 => <2:cliracy(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:28.558 1 => <3:Toboe(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:28.704 1 => <4:Begil(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:28.849 1 => <74:Ziv(Ebi)(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:29.017 1 => <75:Ari(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:29.185 1 => <8:deathworg(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:29.353 1 => <77:Kieu(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:29.522 1 => <79:Hinze(-1)> Connection closed: [-1] <W>2013-09-14 23:46:29.690 1 => <9:(-1)> New connection: 94.191.215.29:51701 <W>2013-09-14 23:46:29.869 1 => <78:(-1)> New connection: 89.77.88.204:56997 <W>2013-09-14 23:46:30.059 1 => <1:(-1)> New connection: 80.5.13.52:50209 <W>2013-09-14 23:46:30.237 1 => <7:(-1)> New connection: 77.215.129.50:50693 <W>2013-09-14 23:46:30.405 1 => <11:(-1)> New connection: 213.105.117.159:52870 <W>2013-09-14 23:46:30.729 1 => <9:(-1)> Client version 1.2.4 (Win: 1.2.4) <W>2013-09-14 23:46:30.897 1 => <9:Hinze(-1)> Authenticated Here's a snapshot of the log. They all reconnect pretty much instantly but still there's a sudden 10-20 second pause that can be really detrimental to the games we're playing.The syslog shows nothing, neither does the network log. Tried giving the server a prioritized QoS over the router TCP and UDP toward the port but it keeps happening. If I raise the voice quality the timeouts become more frequent.The server is hosted on a Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10GHz with 1Gb of ram with a 100/100mbit link. Any thoughts? Administrators kissaki Posted September 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted September 15, 2013 I guess a hoster/hoster networking issue !? …Are you hosting it yourself? Maybe you can try it without QoS (faulty router?). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
