Anyone have an idea how hard compiling the mumble client to run on iPhone OS would be? You'd need static libraries instead of dynamically linked ones, and a different UI. Beyond that, can anyone think of a reason a client couldn't be produced for the iPhone OS?

You know I haven't really seen this project going anywhere.

I am REALLY wanting an iphone client for mumble... I would LOVE to alpha test this just to see if it works. I am not looking for anything but the voicechat functions. Just want to join my 1 server and talk to people. I don't need any extended functions.

Yeah, I got the code and tried to compile it, and it failed. Now I'm going to try to find those responsible and try to help them out.
