Mumble install trying to change Google Chrome files

You misread the message.

It does'nt say that mumble will change some chrome's files.

It just say that chrome lock some files and that mumble want you closing chrome to go on.

(and i think it is related with overlay)

same thing happens with firefox i am remeber correctly.

I would have appreciated had you uploaded the screenshot as a screenshot, and not as a zipped screenshot.

Would have made accessing it a lot easier as well as made it visible what your attachment actually is.


As jjjdea pointed out, you misread the message.


Furthermore, to elaborate:

The mentioned files in use is Direct3D. Chrome uses for hardware acceleration.

Mumble uses them for injecting the Overlay.

Neither change the systems Direct3D files. Mumble injects code in-memory.
