[SOLVED] Only 1 of 2 of your audio sources uses headset

Hello,

The problem that I (and others) are having - is that normal voice streams in the channel come thru fine on my headsets - but the synthesized voice (nice female voice btw, I like it) that "reads" what is typed into comments - comes thru my speakers and not my headset.

I've looked in Mumble's settings and can't find where this issue could be addressed, so I am assuming that it may be a setting in Windows sound system. I know someone here knows how to fix this, and I would be very grateful for a solution.

Try "Control Panel" -> "Ease of Access" -> "Speech Recognition" -> "Text to Speech" -> click on "Advanced" -> "Use this audio output device" ...

Text-to-Speech is provided by the OS.

Check your OSes TTS settings as Natenom suggested.

That was it... Thank you both. Didn't realize it was Windows that was in charge of that Mumble generated text.
