daniel-hodgson
I'm just about to start working on an Android 4.x compatible Mumble client. It will be available in its entireity for free on the Play store, and the source will be made available on Github. I would like to use the app icon in the Mumble iOS build for the sake of consistency, at least temporarily. The license on the Github page doesn't mention anything specific about art assets, but I'm assuming they're free to use in other projects as long as the license is followed.I guess my question is, can I use the Mumble iOS app icon in my open source Android client?I apologize if this is in the wrong section. Moderators Natenom Posted December 11, 2013 Moderators Share Posted December 11, 2013 The BSD-License (https://github.com/mumble-voip/mumble-iphoneos/blob/master/LICENSE) applies to the logo.Btw. are you aware of Plumble, especially version 3.0 which is currently developed and will be Open Source? daniel-hodgson
I was aware of it but I didn't know it was open source. I suppose instead of re-inventing the wheel I can just contribute to Plumble instead. Thanks for the heads up!
