Trying to write a library based on Mumble protocol

Hi,

I'm trying to write a library for simple console clients, based on the MUmble protocol. I'm using as a reference the document describing in detail the mumble communication system ober the network.

I would like to know, if possible from one of the project maintainers, if this kind of development effort is encouraged by the official team, and if I can ask some support questions here and expect to get some answers.
