Mumble randomly stops working

I've been having a huge problem with Mumble, ever since I first installed it about a week ago. And I have no idea how to fix it.

What happens is that people seem to stop talking, even though I know they haven't. I can no longer hear them, and their speech icons are no longer lighting up when they speak. Nor can they hear me.

But everyone else can hear each other just fine.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I've already tried re-installing, and I've tried using Mumble with a few different microphones. So far, nothing's working.

And as I said, this is a rather random event. Sometimes it works just fine for hours, but other times this can happen once every minute or so.

A Mumble restart usually makes it work again for a while, though.

Help?
