[linux] Only output devices show up in input selection

I can't find my input devices in Mumble settings. I can use my microphone perfectly well for in-game talk and recording using programs like Audacity.

Input device using ALSA: http://puu.sh/aPxrj.png (none of the input options that I've tried have worked)

Input device using PulseAudio: http://puu.sh/aPxK2.png

Output device using ALSA: http://puu.sh/aPxvE.png (this works fine)

My audio setup is more complex than I would like it to be:

I have a sound card (Xonar DG) that I use for output (with headphones). The Linux drivers for that card don't have support for input, though, so I use my motherboard's microphone input (with a stand-alone mic).

I use PulseAudio+ALSA, which works for everything else, but there still might be some configuration error that the other applications I've used have bypassed somehow.

What config files could help diagnose this problem?

$uname -a
Linux gravitational 3.15.8-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Aug 1 08:51:42 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux
