Could someone please explain how you go about seetting up the SMF authentication.

I have not been able to find any guides, and the information within the 2 files is sketchy at best.

I have python running, I have ice installed, SMF is using Mysql database.

Where do i put the files, and what variables do i need to change in order for mumble to recognize them and such.

Install python and python-zeroc-ice.

Place the two script files somewhere [1].

Adjust the ini, to match your SMF DB details, your Mumble server, and Murmur.ice location.

Start the python script.

That’s all there is to it.

Ofc, can then use a daemon and auto-start script to automatically start it at system bootup, and daemonize.
