Silvanis149
So basically my problem is that mumble works just fine for about one minute then everything goes silent, nobody can hear me and I can't hear anyone. I am still able to see my icon light up that indicates that I am talking but nobody can hear me. If I restart mumble, it fixes the issue for a small amount of time until there is a silence that lasts over 1 minute. What I have done to try and fix this issue: Reinstalled mumble Updated Mumble 1.2.8 currently System restore to a time before the problem Made sure the idle option is set to nothing Made sure the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" option is not checked on both my Playback device and Recording. Also, I am at a university campus and I don't have access to any of the internet settings.

darkman802
If I was a guessing man, I would say you're losing the UDP stream for some reason. Try using the 'Force TCP mode' in the mumble network settings.
Silvanis149
Well that seemed to have worked, thanks a lot!
Locust
I have a similar issue but it's for every user on my server and it happens maybe four times a day to everyone at once. I'm hoping that having everyone use TCP mode will fix it.
pp5858
If the switch from UDP->TCP works, it would be good to have an option to disable UDP or prefer TCP in configuration on a server. Not like default, but for the one's that have issues or longer period use cases.
