Mumble Won't Link to GTAIV

I've been using Mumble with GTA IV for a few months on my primary computer without issue, but I just purchased a second computer, installed Mumble, configured the same as my primary computer, but Mumble will not link to GTA IV when I play the game.

I've double and triple checked that the "Positional Audio" and "Link to Game and Transmit Position" options are checked, as well as the plugin for GTA IV.

The biggest difference between my primary computer and the new one is that the new one is running Windows 8.

I haven't been able to find any reports of any known issues with Windows 8, and some of the people I play GTA IV with are also running Windows 8 and don't have any problem with Mumble.

I'm out of ideas and thought I'd post here and see if anyone has experienced the issue of Mumble not linking to a game, or had any ideas on how to fix it.

Is your GTA4 client 64-bit?

Is your GTA4 client the same version listed in the plugin?
