USB Mic not working with Mumble on Windows 8

Hello,

I recently upgraded my system from Windows 7 to Windows 8. The mic used to work perfectly with mumble on Windows 7 but now on Windows 8 Mumble doesnt detect any sound from it.


It works perfectly fine on Skype/Steam/Teamspeak but when I run the audio wizard in Mumble and select it, it simply does not pick up anything. I've tried selecting default device as well, still doesn't work.


Mumble is already running in Administrator mode and I've also tried a bunch of compatibility modes. Audio drivers are up to date as well.


I'm out of ideas :(

Any help would be appreciated!
