Mumble ice help

Hey I host free teamspeak servers for pretty much any gaming community who would ask for one and I wish to expand over to mumble. I am encountering a problem when trying to get ice to work. I cannot connect to it remotely or from localhost. I ran a netstat on both my windows server and linux server and both of them say the port is being actively listened on. Still I am unable to make a connection. Could someone please assist with this? The config file will be listed below. :|

You specified

`ice="tcp -h 127.0.0.1 -p 6502".

As you specified 127.0.0.1 ice will only be listened on on the localhost address and you will only be able to connect from localhost.

You specified the port 6502 so I guess that is the port you checked for. With that line, it should indeed be listened on as you were able to verify with netstat.


You furthermore configured

> #icesecretread=test

> icesecretwrite=test

so when connecting to the port 6502 the ice way and you specify the password test, you should be able to connect and have read+write access.


You didn’t really provide any information on how you tried to connect and what the error was, so that’s all I can say.
