Skipping/interruptions/cutting out

Hello,


When I try to speak in Mumble, I cut out often, making it difficult for people to understand me. I have tried using two different headsets, uninstalling/reinstalling, and redoing the audio wizard configuration multiple times.


This only happens in Mumble. No trouble with Skype or Vent. It happens whether I'm on push to talk or on open mic.


Any ideas on what I can do to solve this problem? It has become quite a source of frustration.
