Popping on PTT

When I activate my push to talk, there is a loud and distracting popping sound. This sound does not occur during the transmission, only at the start. It does not happen in other programs that I'm aware of, and there is no distortion with an open mic(both in and out of mumble). I have tried messing with all the various options, and while some do lessen the popping, it is still there.


Here is a recording of me activating the push to talk, both with and without any speaking.
