nicholus.h
I am running Windows 8, Mumble 1.2.8. The audio output never responds to the volume slider at all. It can be set to 0% or 200% and it's exactly the same either way. It wouldn't be such a problem, but it's quite a bit quieter than the games I play. I've tried uninstalling and poking around a lot of the settings, but nothing has helped so far.Can anybody help me?
Administrators mkrautz Posted May 19, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 19, 2015 The slider should definitely control the volume. For example, if you set it to 0, nothing should be played back. Is that not the case for you?Note that you have to click Apply before the volume change is propagated.
Administrators kissaki Posted May 20, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 20, 2015 Can you describe which audio slider specifically you’re using? Maybe post a cropped screenshot?
nicholus.h
https://imgur.com/BbYqAkvThe volume slider under "audio output."Even if I set the volume to 0% and hit apply, it still makes noise. And even if I set the volume 200% and hit apply, the volume is still the same. The audio level it is set at on my computer is way too quiet, I can never hear anything over the game.
