I forgot to export a certificate

The imported certificate is stored in the registry, under

HKCU/Software/Mumble/Mumble/net/certificate.


Mumble stores a bit more in the registry,

and in %APPDATA%/Mumble/mumble.sqlite.

As appdata is not in the windows folder you should still have that folder in your old user folder, and thus can recover favorited servers etc.


But if you did not back up the registry or key, I guess its lost.

You’ll have to generate a new one, and use that from now on.

Maybe the one hosting the server you connect to can update your user accounts certificate to your new *public* key. (Easiest is to register again, copy key, remove new account, and update old account.)
