mumble window freezes

my mumble window freezes after a few messages in the chat bar and it won´t let me scroll or click anywhere. I also can´t minimize or enlarge the window without distorting it. strange enough sound and connection all work perfectly, also when the window is frozen. need some help! i´m using os x yosemite 10.10.4.
