Unable To Ping Server Externally

Hello this is my first post on these forums.


I have a Murmur server I am running on a Server 2012 box.

I am able to ping the server from my own internal IP and I am able to connect to it though both internal and external ips.


The issue is I can only see the number of users online and the ping if I am in an internal IP.


in my murmur.ini I have tried turning on

allowping=true


This is not working any ideas. I know this is a lame request but its a feature I quite enjoy.
