'Qt Plugins' is not a valid short file name

My mumble had been acting weird all day so I deleted it planning to reinstall mumble. I downloaded mumble and started to install it. I immediately get an error message of "Qt plugins' is not a valid short file name." and the installation has a fatal error. I went into programs and features to make sure mumble was fully unistalled. Mumble was still showing in the programs list. So i attempted to uninstall mumble. I got the same error message. So now I am stuck. I can't install or uninstall mumble. Please help....
