jitter, audio per packet too low

I compiled mumble so i can use a 80ms jitter on audio output and mumble crashes moment i transmit. Anything above 60ms, even 61ms crashes as well. I thought it was just a bad compile but i checked both 1.2.10 and latest snapshot by changing the setting in registry and it still crashes on transmit. Any one can shed some light on this?
