No thumbnail preview in the file chooser window on Ubuntu

There is no thumbnail preview when selecting a file in the file choosing window on Ubuntu, it is actually really annoying when trying to send an image to a channel that you can't remember the name of as all you have is a list to choose from.


I'm running Mumble 1.2.4-0.2ubuntu1.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.


A small, but nonetheless, annoying detail.

I'm no Linux expert, i'm just fiddling with the OS for fun, but for what i understand the application has to specify the inclusion of a thumbnail preview in the file chooser.


Every other application I've tried has a preview, but mumble.
