You could try to run the development snapshot of Mumble, 1.3.0. It is available on mumble.info.


It has better overlay compatibility than the stable 1.2.x series.


Also, what game are you trying to run? We cannot help you troubleshoot without any information.

I've tried the the 1.3.0~894~gabdb500~snapshot and 1.3.0~894~gabdb500~snapshot with no luck. The games I tried was Dota 2, L4D2, Black Ops 2, and Grim Dawn. No overlay at all.
