Hey guys need some help

New to mumble and I cant seems to get on to my guilds mumble server. I put the correct info in for the server, I can see the server, the ping, and how many are on. I go to connect and it says "wrong password for registered user" I have never used mumble before so not sure why it says I am registered. I have tried many many diff names for the cert but I still get registered user.

Can anyone give some info on what I am doing wrong as I need it to say unregistered user for there password to work.

Thanks

Eh, what?

Well, the msg states you’re trying to log in to an account and did not provide the correct password.

As the login name is also the username (/nickname) you provided for connecting to the server, that username was already registered once to someone.

So, just connect with a different, not-taken Username.

Also, did you ask your administrator? Maybe he set up some ice-callback to only allow registered users or sth.

The certificate based login will assign you the correct username based on your certificate, so that shouldn’t be a problem.
