Caps Lock Push-to-talk

I would like to use Caps Lock for Push-to-talk in VOIP software, but it annoys me having to rehit the key to have proper case to type every now and then. Is there way to disable the uppercase/lowercase changing portion of the button, but so it would still work in other programs?

I’m doing this in my free time only, and that free time is spent elsewhere as well. So sorry for the delay, but that’s how it is.
