tolore
I was trying to set up a murmur hosting, but when I tried to connect to my own mumble it doesn't work.I originally forgot to actually ENABLE the port forwarding, and was getting the "connection failed: Connection refused." which according the FAQ means I found the computer but the ports were wrong. I then enabled the ports, and when I try to connect in the exact same way mumble just sits there, then the program stops responding, then it starts responding again, then eventually times out.I left the .ini exactly as it was because I don't plan to use this murmur server very often. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Administrators kissaki Posted August 26, 2010 Administrators Share Posted August 26, 2010 mumble just sits there, then the program stops responding, then it starts responding again, then eventually times outDid you check the server while this occurs?Does murmur consume CPU? 100%?Also, check the Murmur log and see if it gets the connection or logs any errors. tolore
not sure what you mean by check the server.murmur and mumble both remain very low on cpu.murmur log does not change at all when i try to connect, i'll go ahead and post it up here though in case there's anything telling.2010-08-26 01:48:12.020 Initializing settings from C:/Program Files (x86)/Mumble/murmur.ini (basepath C:/Program Files (x86)/Mumble)2010-08-26 01:48:12.032 SSL: Added CA certificates from system store 'Ca'2010-08-26 01:48:12.036 SSL: Added CA certificates from system store 'Root'2010-08-26 01:48:12.039 SSL: Added CA certificates from system store 'AuthRoot'2010-08-26 01:48:12.045 ServerDB: Openend SQLite database C:/Users/Alex/murmur.sqlite2010-08-26 01:48:12.050 Failed to open logfile murmur.log. Administrators kissaki Posted August 26, 2010 Administrators Share Posted August 26, 2010 As the server does not log any login attempt it is very probably your firewall or another network problem.
