realnc
The main page (http://mumble.sourceforge.net) does not offer a download for the 1.2.3 RC2 source code. The "Download source code" link only offers up to 1.2.2.At least in the announcements (http://blog.mumble.info/mumble-1-2-3-rc2-released) there should be a download link. Administrators kissaki Posted January 28, 2011 Administrators Share Posted January 28, 2011 Mh, RC is not a stable release, so that’s probably why. The source code can still be retrieved via VCS.
realnc
No, I think it's an oversight so I'm reporting it.RC means "release candidate". You *have* to provide a source tarball for this because it's a candidate for release. It's not a snapshot, it's an RC.
Administrators kissaki Posted January 28, 2011 Administrators Share Posted January 28, 2011 We and they don’t *have* to do anything. This is spare-time and of pure selflessness.
Moderators pcgod Posted January 28, 2011 Moderators Share Posted January 28, 2011 The source tarball is at http://mumble.info/snapshot/mumble-1.2.3~rc2.tar.gz and we're currently not uploading pre-releases to the sourceforge page.
