Overlay crashing Star Trek Online

I installed Mumble 1.2.3 RC3 on Wednesday and it worked great. On Thursday, it auto-updated to 1.2.3 RC3-5. After that, it would crash Star Trek Online at the character login screen. If I exit Mumble or disable the overlay, it works. I uninstalled and reverted to the previous version, but the crash still happens.

What additional diagnostic info can I provide to troubleshoot this?

Try to disable the overlay in Mumbles settings and see if it still crashes.

Yes, as I indicated, disabling the overlay solves the problem. But I'd like to be able to use the overlay, so I'm looking for help diagnosing it.

I'm running it on Windows 7 x64.

Finally got it working again.

Uninstalled muble, and used Regedit to delete all the remaining Mumble registry keys. Re-installed the 1.2.3 release version, and all is well.
