Administrators mkrautz Posted February 21, 2011 Administrators Share Posted February 21, 2011 Hm, try to copy the app bundle to /Applications again (or anywhere, really). It seems like it didn't copy libogg?libogg in my app bundle is (as the Mumble binary expects) 8.0.0.
artooro
I installed on a new Mac running 10.6 and there is no problem. The issue seems to occur on my laptop because I've installed libogg as well from macports. And so the Mumble application is see the macports installed library before it's seeing the bundled library.
artooro
Sorry to bring this up again but I still can't quite figure this out. This snapshot works fine:http://mumble.hive.no/snapshot/Mumble-Universal-Snapshot-1.2.3-22-ga65bb68.dmgBut this snapshot gives the error about libogg:http://mumble.hive.no/snapshot/Mumble-Snapshot-1.2.3-22-ga65bb68.dmgIt's the exact same build number but there is a difference obviously. Administrators mkrautz Posted March 10, 2011 Administrators Share Posted March 10, 2011 artooro,I'll try to see if I can make it happen here as well, perhaps tomorrow. But as I said, I can't really spot that anything should be wrong with the 1.2.3 binary. :(Have you tried to temporarily move the MacPorts libogg somewhere to test if it's interfering? It *really* doesn't seem like it from the warnings/errors that the crash report is giving you, but then again, the binary also *seems* to be fine. :)Also, did you ever try to just drag Mumble.app to your desktop instead of into /Applications? Could be that the libsndfile in your Mumble.app in /Applications is indeed out of date.
