Daemonize Murmur

Hello,

I am currently trying to host a Mumble Server via HostMonster. Basically the ./murmur.x86 process keeps automatically timing out. I have been told several times that daemons do not have an automatic timeout limit set. So, I need to know how to run murmur as a daemon. I have been told that setsid can be used for this purpose, but so far with all my attempts the process still times out.

Any help appreciated.

Note: Since it is a shared webhost account I do not have access to root, but I do have most SSH access.
