It would handy if you stick with one topic per problem. Now all the info is spread over the forum.


Just to get everything straight.

You are running Ubuntu 10.10 (32bit), right?

You say you use the latest version of mumble, where did you get it?


You could try to remove the ~/.config/Mumble/Mumble.conf before restarting mumble. This way you do not need to reinstall Ubuntu. Would you be so kind to start mumble from a terminal. This way you will get some more info about what is happening with mumble. Please post a part of the output when mumble seems to fail.

Computer specs: AMD FX-8320, 8GB DDR3-SDRAM, AMD Radeon HD 7950, Asus Xonar D1, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit/Debian Jessie AMD64.
