Crash on connect

I'm trying to help my friend get connected to our Mumble server, but his client crashes every time he tries to connect. He types in the server info, hits connect, and the client just shuts down (and when he hovers over the icon in the system tray, it just disappears). He's running Vista Ultimate x64, he's got no firewall running, he's got the latest drivers, and is up to date with windows update.


Can somebody please help us out? We're really stumped.
