using setpoint and additional mouse buttons

I can't get mumble to use one of the additional buttons on my mouse when I have setpoint enabled, mumble doesn't pick up that anything is pressed. I've tried various settings in setpoint: simulating keypress, doing nothing, functionkeys. Putting the simulated key in mumble manually doesn't work either.

Disabling setpoint, or using the compatibility client (v1.1) avoids the issue. 1.1 picks up the simulated key correctly and without setpoint 1.2 picks up "MOUSE 4/5" but they aren't really solutions (without setpoint I don't have a middle mouse button which is kinda an issue in some games).

Any ideas would greatly appreciated

Thanks
