milegrin
I am transferring to a new PC. How do I backup my settings so I can transfer them to the new PC? Is it possible to setup Mumble in a stand-alone mode to run from a flash-drive? Maybe convert existing settings to a mumble.ini as described in : something like this : https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/mumble/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=

milegrin
Depends.Mainly on OS.Moving from vista to Win7I would love to copy the settings (primarily connections) to my linux (Ubuntu 10.10) partition if possible too as I use Linux 80-90% of the time as my primary OS Yes, put a mumble.ini in the mumble folder.Great.Is it possible to export the normal settings (in the registry I think from my digging around to find them) to mumble.ini format? Can I use the same mumble.ini in windows & linux?
Administrators kissaki Posted April 17, 2011 Administrators Share Posted April 17, 2011 The sqlite on Win7 is at C:\Users\Kissaki\AppData\Local\Mumble\Mumble\mumble.sqlite and the appropriate folder on Vista.(%APPDATA%/Mumble is also used, but nothing to save there …)
