Did you check http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Running_Murmur ?

To set a superuser password you either run your executable with the -supw parameter and your password, then restart your server,

or use an admin interface.

As for MumPI as your webinterface you only have to enable ice in your murmur.ini file and restart your server.

Then extract MumPI to a web-folder.

If it's on the same server it should run out of the box.

If not set the correct IP and port in the settings file.

All Web Interfaces:

yeah, no .exe, but still executable files, so files you can execute. Or binary files, if you prefer that name.

Oh, what I forgot about the php setup, you'll need a php extension for ice and load the slice file murmur.ice.

When you're talking about the domain, you're talking about webspace? Or a remote server?

Your PHP setup will need the ice extension.

So phpinfo should include "ice".

If you can't install php extensions you'll have to ask your hoster whether they will do it for you.

Then you set the path to your murmur.ice in your php.ini in ice.slice.

See http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Ice

On the server with murmur server side you only have to enable ice in the ini.

If you want to use the external webspace you'll also have to change the ip ice is bound to to your servers address.

For MumPI you don't need mysql. You only need a webserver with apache running, and, as said, the php ice extension.

So, is your webspace your own server? Can you install php extensions for it?

Or will you ask your hoster?

# Apache 2.0.63

# PHP 4.4.9 & 5.2.11

It's apache httpd 2.0 and not even apache 2.2. Are you sure you want to use that?

Also, why PHP 4 instead of 5?

You'll have to check for yourself if the ice php extension works with that, dunno.
