RM12345 Posted October 16, 2021 Share Posted October 16, 2021 Hello all. I'm new to Mumbling but I seemed to get Murmur and Mumble working with minimal issues. Still learning though. Murmur is running on a Windows machine that is off of my workplace network. Opened the port and everything worked. I can connect to the server from various phones and my personal computers.. I installed Mumble on my workplace laptop and it will not connect to my server. I don't even see a list of public servers. Errors I get are: Mumble failed to retrieve version information from the central server. Server connection failed: Connection timed out. Can anyone suggest a fix for this issue? Administrators Krzmbrzl Posted October 17, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2021 The error messages you are seeing on the client-side seem to indicate that your client is unable to access the internet.
