I have the original and updated windows XP. I downloaded and installed version 1.2.3 mumble (client). Sometimes it happens (after boot mumble), I can not say, something is blocking the option of speaking. Then try to restart mumble. When you turn off mumble, mumble.exe process is still in task manager. I can not kill this process in any way. I can not shut down the computer. There remains only a hard reset. Please help.

Try to update your sound drivers. When a program hangs this is often due to the drivers it is working with.

Computer specs: AMD FX-8320, 8GB DDR3-SDRAM, AMD Radeon HD 7950, Asus Xonar D1, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit/Debian Jessie AMD64.
