Attenuation question

Recommended Posts

Should attenuation only occur based on when someone in your channel is talking? One of our users believes that Mumble is attenuating his music volume even when people in other areas of the server are talking.


We are using temporary channels - not sure if this matters. Thank you.

Mumble can attenuate other applications when someone else is speaking, or when you are speaking, or both.


You can modify this behavior by going to Configure -> Settings -> Audio Output, and adjusting the Attenuate applications by... slider, or the check boxes immediately below it.
