Update to 1.2.3 in Debian6-x86_64

No they don’t.


Debian is known to be a slow-updating distribution/repository. They do not accept feature-updates after a stable release.


The repo I use, for debian stable packaged 1.2.3 packages, is http://debian.mcbf.net/, maintained by a community member.

Add the following to your apt/sources.list configuration

deb http://debian.mcbf.net/ squeeze backports

deb-src http://debian.mcbf.net/ squeeze backports source

 

Alternatively, you could download and run the static binaries from the homepage.

If you want to use the previous configuration and database though, be sure to pass the correct parameters when executing, with the debian path to configuration.

 

Or you could build Mumble yourself, on your machine. (You probably don’t want to do that.)
