Connection timing out on mumble

Hello all,

I just set up a murmur server and I followed the murmurguide to the dot. But when I try to connect to it in mumble, the connection times out. I made sure the ip's weren't entered incorrectly.

I set up a port forwarding thing on my router for the default port that murmur servers use.

Any suggestions?

Check on your servers system that

# the process is running, once

# the port is listened on by that process
