Static only I hear

I'm having this problem for a while and it is quite annoying too.

One of my friends in mumble whenever he is drawing with his pad I get this weird noise I keep hearing.

Here's the very strange part: Only I hear it! the others don't hear it!

I've tried reinstalling and changing versions but this problem keeps happening. I don't even understand why I'm the only one who hears this.

The high frequency sound?

Maybe the others are older and thus or for other reasons don’t hear those anymore?

Which part specifically are you talking about?

He seems to drum on his mic quite a lot there as well. (which could be hitting it or the cable, moving which makes the cable wringle or move across a surface)

his mic is actually on the other side of the desk. The only moment we have that noise is when he's using his drawing pad. When he's not drawing we don't have that noise.
