Mumble freezes when I connect to servers

First I want to say I tried twice to search for a previous topic, but "freeze" and "connect" are too common and it won't do it.


Mumble runs fine for the most part but it freezes for around 6 seconds or so when I connect to any server. It works fine after that but It's still kind of frustrating.


I have:


Windows 7 (64 bit)

16 gigs of corsair vengeance ram

2x gtx 570s

sandy bridge i5-2500k

lots of fans!


I have no audio issues or any other problems that come to mind.


Any thoughts?
